We are looking for an inspiring, emotionally intelligent, and approachable leader to join our team at Wishmore Cross Academy as Vice Principal in charge of SEND.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and student-focused leader who will join the leadership team to be the advocate and whole school driving force supporting children with identified SEND needs. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating innovative and evidence-based provision for children who have identified special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

- Demonstrate experience as a senior leader in education, with a track record of initiating and delivering whole-school improvement initiatives.

You’re someone who has:
Proven Leadership: You’ll possess a demonstrable track record of success as a senior leader within a school setting, ideally as part of a Senior Management Team or as a Middle Leader.
SEND Expertise: You’ll have a deep understanding of SEND and a wealth of experience in working with children with diverse needs.
Collaboration and Advocacy: You’ll be adept at working collaboratively with parents, external agencies, and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
Statutory Knowledge: You’ll possess a thorough understanding of the statutory regulations relating to SEND and equality.
Continuous Development: You’ll be eager to engage in ongoing professional development, particularly in SEND-related CPD and qualifications.

About the School:
Wishmore Cross Academy, part of Lift Schools, is a special school in Chobham, Surrey for boys aged 7 to 16 years who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We can admit up to 82 pupils which means that class sizes are small and we work very closely with our students to ensure they get the most out of each day with us. Set in beautiful grounds, we provide high quality CPD to all staff routed through the instructional excellence model.
